Since 1992, Rodger with the support of his wife, Bonnie, and his three children, Rex, Michelle, and Rod, has pastored Redwood Community Church in Napa, California. After college, Rodger pastored Albright Evangelical United Brethren Church in Atlanta, Indiana. He then attended Dallas Seminary where he received a Master of Theology degree. At Dallas he helped Dr. Haddon Robinson with the seminary radio program “Heritage.” Afterwards he then pastored Clearwater Community Church in Florida. There he spent twelve years with Young Life as Executive Director of Church Youth Services. With the additional development experience at Golden Gate Baptist Seminary in California, he still maintains his passion for reaching youth.
