In 1991, after learning of the great revival that has been going on in Argentina, stewarded by Carlos Anacondia, I began studying about (and performing) deliverances, unifying the church leaders in the community, healing the land through repentance of past injustices and the importance of targeted spiritual warfare intercessory prayer. I set up a number of intercessory groups at various churches over the past 23 years that focused on both repentance and warfare prayer, starting long before these subjects became more popular. As I began teaching these things in various churches, it quickly became apparent how firm a hold the Enemy had, not only on Christians in general, but on church leaders in specific.
The Scriptures tell us, “But if our gospel is hidden, it is hidden to those being lost, in whom the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving ones, so that the light of the glorious gospel of Christ should not dawn on them.” (2 Cor. 4:3-4) I tell you truly that Satan has also done an outstanding job of blinding the minds of “believing” church leaders to the reality of his own existence as a genuine adversary we must defeat in order to posses the land:
“No one can enter into a strong man’s house and take his goods, except he first binds
the strong man; then he will take his goods.” (Mark 3:27)
In 2001, I began teaching deliverance ministry via the internet to missionaries in South America. This began exponential growth in their mission in the rural areas of Jaguari, Brazil. When I met this missionary couple, they had a total of 6 converts in ten years of ministry. After teaching team about the freedom ministry and how to exercise their authority over the forces of witchcraft that came against them daily, they built 2 churches of over 300 people each in the next 4-5 years. They are now building another church in a larger city.
Not only did this launch their ministry to a new level, it would eventually launch mine. I began doing more and more one-on-one deliverances and, with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, I developed what we now call the Ten Steps to Freedom. From Lake County California, to Lake County Florida, from Anchorage, Alaska to Birmingham, Alabama, I have taught this process at various churches (including 3 mega-churches) around our nation and without fail, it has changed the atmosphere of those ministries and their congregations.
