Dear partners on the Western Wall … On Monday July 20,2015 we began a great undertaking.

Following The Response: A Nation in Crisis Solemn Assemblies in Louisiana and South Carolina the baton is being passed to the West Coast to build a wall of unity leading to a wave of repentance linked to Patriots Day, Sept. 11, 2015.

Will you consider joining us in this historic undertaking?

BACKGROUND: This is a joint 52-day prayer strategy being implemented among California, Oregon, Washington, Alaska, and British Columbia to strengthen our spiritual linkages and to build a wall or bulwark of righteousness on the West Coast. Each will hold a Solemn Assembly in their own location(s) putting into place the final building block of the wall. California will lead with a solemn assembly in Sacramento on September 9th; Oregon will follow with a solemn assembly in Salem on September 10th; Washington state’s will be held in Olympia on September 11th; British Columbia’s will be held in Ft. Langley on September 12th, and Alaska will hold Solemn Assemblies in multiple locations, including Juneau, on September 13th. Each week we focus on a specific entity or issue to highlight in prayer.

Note: this is a complimentary and separate initiative from the 4^th Watch for the West Coast that was recently launched at the Trumpet Call West Coast.

“REBUILDING THE WESTERN WALL”
PRAYER BULLETIN No. 1 – July 20-26, 2015 for the state of California

Vision: 52 Days of United Prayer & Proclamation for the States of California, Oregon, Washington, and Alaska, as well as British Columbia
“So the wall was finished in the twenty-fifth day of the month of Elul, in 52 days.” Nehemiah 6:15

BACKGROUND: The above scripture was highlighted to Barbara Ingmire while praying about strategy for the June 19th joint meeting held at the Washington state capitol in Olympia among prayer leaders from California, Oregon and Washington. Holy Spirit prompted, “What is the 25th day of Elul on our calendar?” and looking at the Hebrew calendar she found that this year it is September 9, 2015. She then counted back 52 days and came to July 20, 2015. During the meeting, the state representatives discussed holding “solemn assemblies” of repentance in collaboration with one another for united prayer .

In God’s divine providence, California had already designated September 9th for a solemn assembly. Oregon then scheduled September 10th for theirs, and Washington, September 11th. As part of this resulting strategic prayer initiative, weekly prayer bulletins are being issued for those who will contend together for the prophetic destinies of these states. As noted in the scripture above, Nehemiah and his team rebuilt the wall of Jerusalem in 52 days. Join us during this 52-day Holy Spirit assignment in building a “Western Wall” of spiritual strength and protection for this nation. Let’s “rebuild the wall” and together declare: “A Mighty Fortress is our God, a bulwark never failing!”

WEEKLY MEDITATION FROM THE BOOK OF NEHEMIAH:

Nehemiah 1:4 “And it came to pass when I heard these words, that I sat down and wept and mourned certain days and fasted and prayed before the God of Heaven.”

Nehemiah means “comforter” or literally “Jehovah has consoled”. Another name for the Holy Spirit in the New Testament is “The Comforter”. There are Nehemiahs in California, Oregon and Washington who have wept and mourned, and like Nehemiah have confessed their own, their families’ and their nation’s sins. As a result, they are now full of the Holy Spirit, led by the Spirit, and ministering in the life and power of the Holy Spirit.

DECLARE: Nehemiahs will arise all over our states and, in the power and strength of the Holy Spirit, will minister Life to dead places and will release Light in the darkness, until dramatic shifts occur in the spiritual atmosphere over the western border of this nation, returning ourselves, our families and our states to our Godly roots.

WEEKLY PRAYER/PRAISE POINTS:

Oregon and Washington will declare California’s prophetic words over them:

CALIFORNIA IS GOD’S GOLDEN GARDEN OF EDEN STATE! Genesis 2:8: Male and female enjoy joint responsibility in cultivating the fertile land and taking dominion (watching and praying ) over her borders. (Battle at the gate over Proposition 8).
Decree order has been established in male/female relationship. Genesis 1:26-31.
Israel and California share a parallel destiny, as shown Henry and Grace Falaney. “Through California all the nations will be blessed.” Genesis 12:3
Blessing will be released through all seven mountains of culture in California, given by Johnny Enlow. To whom much had been given much is required. Through California the true image of the Father will be presented. Exodus 20:4. All of her children will be taught of the Lord. Isaiah 54:13. California will remember the Lord who has given her the ability to create wealth. Deuteronomy 8:18
God’s House in California will operate in her true identity as A House of Prayer for all Nations. Money changers have been driven out. Matthew 12:12,13
The precious oil of order and unity is now flowing over the priesthood. Psalm 133.
Angels ascend and descend over her portals. Genesis 28:12,13

The anointing on John Wimber is being revived and will release healing to the Body from abusive father identities. (dream, Barbara Ingmire). James 1:17 “Every good and perfect gift comes down from the Father of Lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.” Songs of the Vineyard are being released.

Did we in our own strength confide, our striving would be losing. Were not the right Man on our side, the Man of God’s own choosing.

PRAYER BULLETIN No. 2 – July 27-August 2, 2015 for the State of Oregon

Vision: 52 Days of United Prayer for the States of California, Oregon, Washington, and Alaska and the Province of British Columbia
“So the wall was finished in the twenty-fifth day of the month of Elul, in 52 days.” Nehemiah 6:15

WEEKLY MEDITATION FROM THE BOOK OF NEHEMIAH:

Occupationally, Nehemiah was the king’s cupbearer. He tested and tasted the wine of the king and discerned if there was any harmful substance in it.

DECLARE: God is raising up Nehemiahs who will not be satisfied with old wine and old wineskins. In their unquenchable hunger and thirst for righteousness, God will release through them mighty, new and powerful divine strategies that will dismantle and destroy strongholds previously occupied by the kingdom of darkness. They will easily discern evil intent and cut it off, and they will guard others against falling into deceitful traps and snares. They will claim our western territory for the Kingdom of God through prayer and solemn assemblies.

WEEKLY PRAYER/PRAISE POINTS:

The western states will declare Oregon’s prophetic words over them:

Oregon became a state on Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14, 1859. A special anointing for the Love of God resides on Oregon. Matthew 22:37 – “And He said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord you God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.'”
Oregon was the 33rd state admitted to the Union. The 33 stars that surround the State Seal remind us of Jeremiah 33:3 – “Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.”
A special mantle for PRIESTLY INTERCESSION resides on the state of Oregon. From the symbolism on the State Seal,

WE DECLARE: Oregon will fulfill her destiny releasing PROPHETIC MINISTRY to the nation.

4. A banner with the words “THE UNION” is included on the seal. A special mantle of Unity resides on the state of Oregon.

PRAYER BULLETIN No. 3 – August 3 – 9, 2015 for the State of Washington

WEEKLY MEDITATION FROM THE BOOK OF NEHEMIAH:

NEHEMIAH FASTS AND PRAYS. Nehemiah grieved over the sorry state of his city. He was burdened. In identificational repentance, he confessed his nation’s sins as his own. “We have sinned against You.” We need Nehemiahs who will see their communities and states through the eyes of Jesus. The condition of our states must reduce us to fasting and tears in utter embarrassment before God for our stubborn, shameful ways and drive us to our knees in utter dependence upon Him.

THE RESPONSE: In prayer, Nehemiah received boldness and the divine strategy to do something specific about the current state of the city and so began to repair and rebuild what had seemed to be irreparably destroyed. Please note he coupled his prayer with fasting, since the conditions were so dire: “this kind can come forth by nothing but by prayer and fasting.” Mark 9:29 Fast with us, as the Lord leads you, during these 52 days leading up to our solemn assemblies.

WEEKLY PRAYER/PRAISE POINTS:

Sing, declare and proclaim Washington’s prophetic words over them:

Mantle. Washington state is named after America’s first President, George Washington, and carries his mantle as the first General. In fact, the flag of the state of Washington is the only U.S. state flag with a field of green and the only state flag with the image of an American president. From that mantle we carry the anointing for coming together in order–even in military precision. I Chronicles 12:22 – “From day to day men came to David to help him until there was a great army, like the army of God.”
Order. We call forth order in Washington state — the Whirlwind State. The puzzle pieces that have been swirling about for so long are landing in perfect order and the prophetic picture is becoming clear. Leaders are working together cohesively and in unity, and their vision and insight is sharpening and focused like the eagle’s. Ephesians 4:11 &14 – And He gave some apostles, and some prophets and some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers … From whom the whole body is fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplies …”
Spiritual Awakening. A massive bell is ringing and the state is coming out of a long season of spiritual hibernation. The spiritual destiny and intent for the state is awakening and a song of awakening is coming forth from God’s people. The song is releasing a godly whirlwind that is turning the state around into truth and God’s intent. Washington state, instead of being hidden, will be seen by the nation.
Resurrection Life. Washington state was the 42nd state admitted to the union, occurring on November 11, 1889. We declare John 11:11 – “I go, that I may awake him out of sleep.”

WE DECLARE: Washington will fulfill her prophetic destiny!

PRAYER BULLETIN No. 4 – August 10-16, 2015 for the Province of British Columbia

WEEKLY MEDITATION FROM THE BOOK OF NEHEMIAH:

NEHEMIAH UNDERSTANDS THE POWER OF FAVOR AND ACCESSES IT. Nehemiah used the power structures of his day for the benefit of his people. He did not see himself on a collision course with the non-Jewish king he served. Rather, he appealed for his cooperation in rebuilding Jerusalem’s walls.

THE RESPONSE: The Nehemiahs of today must be friends of the Church, friends of the Court, friends of City Hall, and friends of the Corporation. As we work alongside of those in authority for the shalom and the future of our cities, states and provinces, God will release the resources to help us fulfill the task.

BRITISH COLUMBIA – WEEKLY PRAYER/PRAISE POINTS

Kingdom of Abundance: The Government of British Columbia is currently marketing BC as the Kingdom of Abundance and as Super, Natural BC. We declare that the supernatural Government of God is rising in BC and of that Government there shall be no end! The abundance belongs to You! It is Your Divine provision and we call for honorable stewards of it! Isaiah 9:7 – “There will be no end to the increase of His government or of peace, on the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and righteousness from then on and forevermore. The zeal of the LORD of Hosts will accomplish this. “

‘Splendor without Diminishment,’ the Provincial motto is a direct reference to the British expression, “the sun never sets on the British Empire.” With joy we declare that Your ever increasing Kingdom is increasing in BC! Be exalted, O God, above the heavens; let Your glory be over all the earth. … Be exalted, O God, above the highest heavens. Psalms 57 and 108

British Columbia became the sixth province of Canada. “Six days” mark the completion of creation as God’s work. Six is also the number of balance, harmony, cooperation and marriage. Jesus’ first miracle changed six pots of water to wine for the wedding feast (John 2:6). We declare success to every work of reconciliation in British Columbia. We declare increasing harmony and cooperation between Heaven and earth and therefore the peoples of BC. We honor and cooperate with Holy Spirit’s great work of preparing the Bride of Christ!

British Columbia: We do not cease giving thanks for you, while making mention of you in our prayers; that the God of our Lord Yeshua the Christ, the Father of glory, that He may give to you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of Him. We pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the surpassing greatness of His power. “REBUILDING THE WESTERN WALL” Saturday, August 15, 2015

Alert! We are at the half- way point of building this important governmental wall. Why do I say governmental? Jerusalem was and is the center of God’s government. Yeshua the King wept over Jerusalem and one day soon will return to reign there. He is with us in the battle! The name Satan means adversary. Nehemiah Chapter 4 warns us that our adversary rises up at the half-way point to oppose the building of God’s Kingdom.

Six points regarding the enemy’s tactics:

1. The enemy will stir up burning anger
(Satan does not want to lose control of territory. Consider all the intercession for years along the I -5 corridor and even beyond into Alaska. Our wall building is destroying strongholds that have existed for centuries that give the enemy legal right to “traffic” on these highways.)
2. Mocking and sarcasm
is this really making a difference?
3. Threats and intimidation
4. Discouragement and exhaustion
5. Negativism
10 times (means over and over in Hebrew) words coming through those in our environment speaking doom and gloom
6. Fear

Nehemiah’s responses:

1. Pray…Cry out to the Lord
2. Put your heart into the work
3. Set a watch; increase vigilance regarding the enemy’s encroachment on the work. It is not business as usual for the next 26 days (August 15-Sept. 9).
4. Focus on the Lord; God is able to make all grace abound towards us!

“REBUILDING THE WESTERN WALL”
PRAYER BULLETIN No. 5 – August 17-23, 2015 for the State of Alaska

WEEKLY MEDITATION FROM THE BOOK OF NEHEMIAH:

NEHEMIAH IS A WALL-BUILDER WHO INSPIRES AND INVOLVES OTHERS IN THE TASK. Nehemiah involved key individuals among the remnant who had a heart for Jerusalem and challenged them together, “Let us rise up and build.”

THE RESPONSE: We need Nehemiahs who share God’s ambition for their states and provinces. Their primary purpose is to build God’s Kingdom, “what God had put in my heart to do at Jerusalem“– not their own Babel. They see the big-picture with a God lens. They help everyone play their part in their respective sections on the Wall – God’s division of labor according to His God-given gifts and callings.

ALASKA – WEEKLY PRAYER/PRAISE POINTS
1. Alaska’s Flag was designed by Alaskan born Benny Benson, a 13 year old boy who was living in an orphanage on the Kenai Peninsula at the time. Alaska’s flag has the seven stars of the Big Dipper pointing to the guiding light of the North Star. We stand in agreement that the heavens will declare Your glory and the firmament will proclaim Your handiwork across the state pointing all to You, Jesus, the Light of the World. Alaska will not walk in darkness, but will have the Light of Life!! (Ps. 19:1; John 14:6; and John 8:12)
2. Alaska – The Great Land. Alaska is the largest state in our nation. It has a longer coastline than all of the other U.S. states combined and is surrounded by two oceans and three seas. Alaska has the highest mountain peak in North America – third highest in the world. There are more than three million lakes, over 130 volcanoes and volcanic fields and half of the world’s glaciers! Just as the Lord has poured out abundant physical blessings, beauty, and resources over this Great Land, so shall the spiritual blessings, beauty, and resources of grace, mercy, and love be in abundance. (Isaiah 45:3; Colossians 2:3) From 1 Timothy 1:14-17 – “And the grace of our Lord was exceedingly abundant, with faith and love which are in Christ Jesus … Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, to God who alone is wise, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.”
3. The Fires Are Burning in Alaska: Just as the fires were burning across Alaska this last summer of 2015 and capturing the attention of the world, so shall the spiritual hearts of all the saints in Alaska burn with a holy fire for the Lord – a fire deep down in their bones that will inspire and capture the attention of the world around them. Those who would stand in accusation or persecution against Your people will stumble and not prevail. (Jeremiah 20:9-11) In the same way that our statehood was celebrated with a bonfire, so shall the fire of God enlighten and brighten all the saints living in Alaska that their light will, in turn, be a beacon for all to see and run to in times of trouble. (Matthew 5:14-16)
4. From the Alaska Constitutional Convention of 1956: “We bequeath to you a state that will be glorious in her achievements, a homeland filled with opportunities for living, a land where you can worship and pray, a country where ambitions will be bright and real, an Alaska that will grow with you as you grow.“ As the mantel has been passed on to us from the great cloud of witnesses who have gone on before us, we declare the glory, rule, and kingship of Jesus only over Alaska. We believe that Your plans, King Jesus, are for good, not harm, and they will bring hope and a bright future to Alaska. We will grow from glory to glory, realizing the divine visions and dreams that You have for this great state and all who live in it. We declare You are King over the mountains of influence in Alaska and only Your plans and purposes will be accomplished!! (Proverbs 21:30-31; Jeremiah 29:11; and 2 Corinthians 3:18)

“REBUILDING THE WESTERN WALL”
PRAYER BULLETIN No. 6 – August 24-30, 2015 for our Capital Cities

UNIQUE TO THIS PRAYER BULLETIN: In highlighting our capital cities this week, we are also honoring the mandate given by the Lord to Andrea O’Brien on August 14, 2013 in the state of California to “enter His courts with praise.” He added, “The California State Capitol is the highest court in California. Enter its courts with Christmas worship.” Thus, “Carols at the Capitol” was birthed and later broadened to extend throughout the U.S. His command also came with a promise: “If you do this, I will bring you a righteous leader.” In keeping with that mandate, we will sing “carols of praise” over each of our capital cities this week.

WEEKLY MEDITATION FROM THE BOOK OF NEHEMIAH:

NEHEMIAH FACES SPIRITUAL WARFARE. As soon as Nehemiah revealed his plan to rebuild the wall of Jerusalem, Sanballat and his cohorts began to scorn and ridicule the plan and to accuse them of rebellion against the king.

THE RESPONSE: Release of God’s vision is contended by retaliation from the enemies of God. We need Nehemiahs who understand power encounters and the spiritual weapons and authority that are at our disposal. In warfare the Nehemiahs of our day must be discerning and must courageously expose and overthrow the schemes of the enemy. For example, when his enemies tried to lure him, Nehemiah refused to engage in fruitless discussions with people opposed to God’s work. He stayed focused and remained on the wall.

WEEKLY PROPHETIC/PRAYER POINTS OVER CAPITAL CITIES: Sacramento, Salem, Olympia, Victoria, and Juneau

SACRAMENTO.

We declare over Sacramento: Psalm 24:7-10: The King of Glory and His Kingdom. Thy Kingdom Come, Thy will be done in Sacramento! Lift up your heads, O you gates! (SACRAMENTO) And be lifted up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in. ⁸Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, The Lord mighty in battle. ⁹Lift up your heads, O you gates! Lift up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in. ¹⁰Who is this King of glory? Old Sacramento is a National Landmark that boasts 53 historic buildings and 5 million visitors annually. While the area has seen vast improvements since it was first redeveloped in the 1960’s, it is the goal of the Historic Old Sacramento Foundation to realize the area’s potential as California’s hub of historic education and preservation (HOSF / Mission). “Sacramento is located in the heart of the Central Valley — one of the richest agricultural areas in the world. Agricultural pioneers are renowned for devising ingenious methods to make farm work more efficient and profitable (The Agricultural Gallery).

We declare Isaiah 33:21-22: “But there (Sacramento) the Majestic Lord will be for us a place of broad rivers and streams, in which no galley with oars will sail, nor majestic ships pass by. For the Lord is our Judge, the Lord is our Lawgiver, the Lord is our King. He will save us.” Father God, Our Governor, we thank You that You are a mighty River of Living Water reigning and raining down on Sacramento. Father God, You are Sacramento’s Judge, Lawgiver and King. We declare Sacramento will be saved in Yeshua’s precious Name.

We declare Isaiah 9:6-7: “For unto us a Child (GOVERNOR) is born … And the government will be upon His shoulder … The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.” Father God, We decree and declare Jesus Christ is Lord over California and that Righteousness and Justice are the foundation of Your Throne. There is no end to the increase of your government and peace. We declare all governing spheres of authority in the seven mountains of Media, Religion, Government, Economy, Education, Entertainment, and Family, will come into alignment with that foundation. We declare a cultural change in Sacramento toward Godly moral beliefs. We declare a tipping of the scales of Justice for the Lord over Sacramento, the Capital of California, the State of Christ.

We declare Isaiah 22:22: “The key of the house of David I will lay on his shoulder (SACRAMENTO); So he shall open, and no one shall shut; And he shall shut, and no one shall open. ²³I will fasten him as a peg in a secure place, And he (SACRAMENTO) will become a glorious throne to his father’s house.” Father God: We declare The Keys to the house of David You have placed on (SACRAMENTO’S) shoulders. Lord thank you that You shut the doors of Religion and Open the Doors to true Worship in Spirit and Truth. We declare My House (SACRAMENTO) will be called a House of Worship and Prayer. Therefore, if the Son makes you (SACRAMENTO) free, you shall be free indeed. John 8:36

The Church – for love and unity, for leaders to work together, for the congregations to be houses of prayer, for the Salem House of Prayer to be a gathering and rallying place for the city, for the Church to exercise the government of God for our city and state, for repentance and revival to abound, and for God to be glorified by the Church being set in order.
The Family – for harmony in marriages and the divorce rate to be cut in half, for children to be raised in safe nurturing homes filled with peace, for provision for the family needs to be met and not be in debt, for purity and freedom from addictions, and for families to know the Lord and be faithful in following Him.
The Government – for contentions between political opponents to be replaced by respect, kindness, and cooperation; for just and righteous laws to be established and adhered to in our city and state; for leaders and officials who have Godly character and make wise choices; for law enforcement to operate well to maintain peace and safety; for our state prisons to welcome changes and be more like Angola prison in LA; for favor for Christians working in government; and for many more people to know the Lord personally.
Education – for physical safety in schools, for schools to be peaceful and free from bullying and any form of intimidation for both students and adults, for order and good discipline in the classrooms, for funds to provide a good education and wise use of the resources, for students to learn our Godly heritage and desire to be informed and involved in contributing to our communities.

OLYMPIA.

We declare Olympia is a Pearl of Great Price … a hidden treasure on the mouth of the Sound. She is a Financial Capital. Olympia has the anointing for stewardship of great wealth for Kingdom purposes, a Joseph/Cyrus anointing. Haggai 2:8 – “The silver is mine and the gold is mine, saith the Lord of Hosts.” Olympia is a place where thrones of judgment are set. Psalm 122 – She is a place of defense for The Holy City, Jerusalem. “I will raise up deliverers on Mt. Zion to judge the mount of Esau and the kingdom shall be the Lord’s.” Obadiah 21. Olympia is a City of War, a Spiritual Warfare Center established to watch over and protect the Sound coming in and going out of the Portal of Olympia as an apostolic center. Apostle Greg Hood of Hawaii had a vision in Olympia of Kenneth Hagin dragging a stick from Washington up to Alaska and all across Canada. He spoke of the faith message being released and moving from Washington. “Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it. Unless the Lord guards the city, the watchman stays awake in vain.” Psalm 127:1
FROM NORTHWEST PROPHETIC through Jeff Jansen (edited): In my vision, I was hovering high above the Olympia area, and I could see a wall of fire surrounding Olympia very similar to that which started in Seattle. Upon a closer look, I could see this wall of fire was a multitude of chariots of fire. In the midst of downtown Olympia was a large whirlwind. These chariots of fire will be at the disposal of those who believe. The Lord said this region will experience a Resurrection Revival . The Resurrection of the Dead will be the new movement of God. Not that resurrections haven’t taken place before, this time it will be so prevalent that it will remove the grey area where agnostics/ atheists like to reside when they say: “I don’t know if there is a God or not”. The Signs, Wonders and Miracles will be so plentiful the agnostic grey area will disappear and force people to choose. They will have to choose the kingdom of Light or the kingdom of Darkness. This will be the beginning of the great harvest and millions will run into the kingdom of God.

The word continued: “Then I saw an ignition of something very similar to watching cardboard beginning to burn, the black line of converted material creeping across the cardboard until a certain point when it erupts with a great fervor. What I saw was that the interstates would act as carriers. I saw an expansion go north and south along the I-5 corridor. This continued down into southern California. The freeways and roads acted like veins in the body pumping life sustaining substance to the much needed areas.”

JUNEAU.

Jesus, despite the fact that our capital and legislative sessions are so far away, You are ever near. You know when our government leaders are rising and sitting down. You know their path and are acquainted with all their ways. (Ps. 139) We cannot hide from Your Spirit and no plan, wisdom, or insight can succeed against You. (Proverbs 21:30-31) We declare that You are Jehovah Shammah, our God who is THERE over Juneau, Alaska. (Ps. 46:1) You are interceding on behalf of Alaska and all that is happening politically across this Great Land.
Governor Walker has launched an investigation into the Department of Corrections in hopes of improving policies and ensuring inmate safety. Jesus, we declare, “there is nothing hidden that will not be disclosed, and nothing concealed that will not be known or brought out into the open.” (Luke 8:17) We declare divine wisdom and discernment will surround this investigation and You will bring out into the open what is hiding in darkness. (Eph. 5:13-17)
Natural resources are a critical part of Alaska’s income and sustenance. Radiation effects from the Japanese tsunami are an issue to pray into. Lord, from Psalm 91, You are the One who protects Alaska from pestilence or destruction. The earth is YOURS and everything in it. We declare Your mighty healing hand over the waters and Your protection over the resources of Alaska.
On August 31, President Obama will be coming to Alaska to talk to a State Department Conference about the future of the Arctic and Arctic politics. Jesus, we declare that Your plans for Alaska are to prosper her and not harm her, to give her a hope and a future. We thank You that You deliver her from any scheme of the enemy and will preserve her and her resources for Your glory and honor. (2 Tim. 4:18 and Isaiah 45:3)
In the government systems of Juneau, we declare that contentions between political opponents will be replaced by respect, kindness, and cooperation; that just and righteous laws will be established and adhered to in our city and state; that leaders and officials who have Godly character and make wise choices will rise up and be put in places of authority across the 7 mountains of influence; for law enforcement to operate well to maintain peace and safety; that favor will be over Christians working in government; and that all who work and reside in Juneau will come to know Jesus Christ personally as their Lord and Savior.
We declare that iron will sharpen iron in the governmental realms of Alaskan politics while also gaining the blessing that comes when brethren dwell in unity. You, alone, know the fine balance that is necessary to grow and mature while living in peace with one another. Thank You for Your anointed leaders over this state. May Your will be done in Alaska as it is in Heaven. (Ps. 133 and Prov. 27:17)

“So the wall was finished in the twenty-fifth day of the month of Elul, in 52 days.” Nehemiah 6:15

BACKGROUND: This is a joint 52-day prayer strategy being implemented among California, Oregon, Washington, Alaska and British Columbia to strengthen our spiritual linkages and to build a wall or bulwark of righteousness on the West Coast. Each will hold a solemn assembly in their own location(s) putting into place the final building block of the wall. California will lead with a solemn assembly in Sacramento on September 9th; Oregon will follow with a solemn assembly in Salem on September 10th; Washington state’s will be held in Olympia on September 11th; British Columbia will hold two assemblies in Victoria on September 12th, and Alaska will hold solemn assemblies in multiple locations including Juneau on September 13th.

Each week we focus on a specific entity or issue to highlight in prayer. This week’s focus is based on a declaration by Pastor Neelah Lee of the Citadel Church that a beam of light will shine from Washington state to Washington, DC, and that Washington state will have an answer for what is coming out of Washington, DC. Based on that declaration, we are declaring “The Names of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit” across the nation into Washington, DC.

WEEKLY MEDITATION FROM THE BOOK OF NEHEMIAH:

NEHEMIAH IS A REVIVALIST. Nehemiah restored the public reading of the Word. He restored the celebration of worship. He declared a love feast to stop the people from mourning that they might embrace and enjoy the grace of God.

THE RESPONSE: We need Nehemiahs who will strike a balance between Word and work, while engaging in worship and warfare. We need Nehemiahs who will be catalysts for a genuine renewal and revival movement that emphasizes repentance and public restitution.

WEEKLY PRAYER/PRAISE POINTS – NAMES OF THE FATHER, SON AND HOLY SPIRIT

1. FATHER.

ABBA / FATHER. Jesus showed us the loving mercies of our heavenly Father who so loved the world that He sent His Son so that all who believe on Him can have eternal life. In the New Testament, God is often referred to as Father. He is the “Father of Glory,” “Father of Lights,” “Father of Mercies, “Father of Spirits”, and the “Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.” We cry “Abba Father” for our states and province, for You to look upon us with favor and turn us back in repentance to You and Your ways. Isaiah 64:8, John 3:16, Colossians 1:3, Ephesians 1:17, James 1:17, 2 Corinthians 1:3, Hebrews 12:9

ALMIGHTY GOD. “The Mighty One of Jacob” speaks to God’s ultimate and sovereign power over all. Other similar names are, “Lord Almighty,” “Lord God Almighty,” “Lord God Omnipotent,” and “Mighty One of Israel.” Unlike the four worldly empires of Daniel 7, which will crumble and fall, the Almighty God, also the Ancient of Days, always existed and always will exist and reigns over the affairs of men. Because He is outside time, He is always in the present. He does not change or change His mind. He is immutable. He reigns over the United States of America of Christ and the nation of Canada and hears our prayers for our nations! Isaiah 1:24, Genesis 49:24, Psalm 132:2, 5, 2 Corinthians 6:18, Revelation 15:3, Revelation 19:6, Daniel 7:9, 13, 22

CREATOR. God, the Creator of the world has made it, upholds it, governs it, and judges righteously in it. He who created everything is from everlasting to everlasting, unchangeably the same. As the One who created everything, He is the self-existent and all comprehending Being, the maker and former and upholder of all things. As Isaiah reminded the people of Israel, only the Creator God is worthy of our worship. In His creative power, He is sovereign over all the earth and the affairs of men. He reigns over the Western region and in Washington, DC, and all territory in between! He rules in all spheres! He maintains order. He has power–absolute power– over the enemy! We reign through and in Him and release His creative power and authority over this nation and Canada. Isaiah 40:28, 43:15

DELIVERER. A favorite name for God used by David, probably because of the number of times God faithfully delivered David from his enemies. God is the ultimate rescuer of His people. God may not choose to deliver us from all of life’s dangers, but He has provided the ultimate deliverance in His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, by whose sacrifice on the cross we are delivered from the ultimate danger—eternity in hell for sin. He is present, accessible, near to those who call on Him for deliverance. We praise Him for deliverance on behalf of His Kingdom for California, Oregon, Washington, British Columbia and Alaska! 2 Samuel 22:2, Psalm 18:2, 40:17, 70:5

EVERLASTING GOD (EL-OLAM).   God’s nature is without beginning and without end, the One who will never cease to be. He is outside of time and, in fact, created and controls time without being constrained by it in any way. “From everlasting to everlasting, You are God.” Timeless God, hear our prayers for our states and province, and join them with the prayers of the saints who have gone before us, linking the generations. Genesis 21:33, Psalm 90:1-3, Psalm 90:2

HOLY ONE. Also called the “Holy One of Israel” and the “Holy One of Jacob,” God’s premiere attribute of holiness is on display in these names. God’s holiness is more than just His perfection or sinless purity; it is the essence of His transcendence, the quality of being separate—outside and above all of creation. God’s holiness embodies His mysterious awesomeness and, because of His transcendent holiness, we gaze in awe at Him. The Holy One’s purity makes it impossible for Him to tolerate sin, and to satisfy His own holiness, He provided a way for sinful mankind to approach Him—through the sacrifice of Christ, the sinless Son of God. As His Body, let us gaze together upon His holiness this week and begin to see Him transform us into His likeness. Isaiah 43:15, Isaiah 1:4, 12:6, 60:9, Isaiah 29:23

LORD OF HOSTS (YAHWEH-SABAOTH).   Hosts means “hordes” of angels and/or of men. Appearing 250 times in the Bible (18 times in the 18th chapter of Zechariah alone), the “Lord of Hosts” is one of the most common names for God. He who rules the universe exercises control over all the hosts of heaven and ultimate control over the armies of the earth, whether we recognize it or not. Praise Him for His overwhelming power over the enemy of our souls, as well as for our states and nations! Isaiah 1:24, Psalm 46:7

MOST HIGH (EL-ELYON). This name is derived from the Hebrew root for “go up” or “ascend,” so the implication is of that which is the very highest. El-Elyon denotes exaltation and speaks of absolute right to lordship. Nothing in all creation is higher than God. As Nebuchadnezzar discovered, “the Most High rules the kingdom of men.” Pray our highest governmental officials will also come to this same discovery.   2 Samuel 22:14, Psalms 9:2, 73:11, 107:11, Daniel 4:31-37

2. SON.

CHIEF CORNERSTONE. Jesus is the cornerstone of His church. He cements together Jew and Gentile, male and female—all saints from all ages and places into one structure built on faith in Him which is shared by all. And on that Rock, we stand united and strong in Him.   Ephesians 2:20

FIRSTBORN OVER ALL CREATION AND THE CHURCH.   Christ occupies the rank and pre-eminence of the first-born over all things; He sustains the most exalted rank in the universe; He is pre-eminent above all others; He is at the head of all things.   We praise Him for His preeminence and bow our hearts and knees to Him! Jesus Christ is not a king or a pope: He is the only supreme, sovereign ruler of the Church—those for whom He died and who have placed their faith in Him alone for salvation. Colossians 1:15, Ephesians 1:22, 4:15; 5:23

GOOD SHEPHERD. The first half of John 10 describes of Jesus as our Shepherd who calls us by name, leads us out, gives us abundant life, and lies down His life for us. It also says that the sheep recognize His voice. What a wonderful, caring, loving relationship He has provided for those who respond to Him!   John 10:14-15

HEAVENLY BRIDEGROOM. The picture of Christ as the Bridegroom and the Church as His Bride reveals the special relationship we have with Him. We are bound to each other in a covenant of grace that cannot be broken. Praise Him for His enduring love and commitment to us as His Bride. Pray for many to be brought into this understanding in a fresh, new way and to stir up their first love! Matthew 9:15

KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS. Jesus has dominion over all authority on the earth, over all kings and rulers, and none can prevent Him from accomplishing His purposes. He directs them as He pleases. Jesus is the sovereign ruler over the whole world and all things in it, of all the nations of the world. Praise Him as the transcendent king over our states, province, and nations at this time in history. 1 Timothy 6:15, Revelation 19:16, Acts 10:36

LIGHT OF THE WORLD. Jesus came into a world darkened by sin and shed the light of life and truth through His work and His words. Those who trust in Him have their eyes opened by Him and walk in the light. Open the eyes of our leaders, O True Light. John 8:12

MEDIATOR. A mediator is one who goes between two parties to reconcile them. Christ is the one and only Mediator who reconciles men to God. Pray for leaders to be awakened to this role of Christ–as the unique and singular way to God Most High. 1 Timothy 2:5

PRINCE OF PEACE. Jesus came not to bring peace to the world as in the absence of war, but peace between God and man who were separated by sin. He died to reconcile sinners to a holy God. Declare True Peace over this Western Wall, being built for His honor and glory, and for reconciliation and peace within the Body of Christ. Isaiah 9:6

RESURRECTION AND LIFE. Embodied within Jesus is the means to resurrect sinners to eternal life, just as He was resurrected from the grave. Our sin is buried with Him and we are resurrected to walk in newness of life. Praise Him for new invigorating resurrection power and life to rise up in the Body of Christ and infiltrate our culture. John 11:25

SAVIOR. He saves His people by dying to redeem them, by giving the Holy Spirit to renew them by His power, by enabling them to overcome their spiritual enemies, by sustaining them in trials and in death, and by raising them up at the last day. Hallelujah for His great salvation with its transforming power. Let a wall of praise arise as we see His mighty hand at work! Matthew 1:21, Luke 2:11

3. HOLY SPIRIT.

COMFORTER / COUNSELOR / ADVOCATE. All three words are translations of the Greek parakletos, from which we get “Paraclete,” another name for the Spirit. When Jesus went away, His disciples were greatly distressed because they had lost His comforting presence. But He promised to send the Spirit to comfort, console, and guide those who belong to Christ. The Spirit also “bears witness” with our spirits that we belong to Him and thereby assures us of salvation. Fill us with Your Spirit, Lord, in increasing measure, that we may comfort others in trying times.   Isaiah 11:2, John 14:16, 15:26, 16:7

CONVICTER of SIN. The Spirit applies the truths of God to men’s own minds in order to convince them by fair and sufficient arguments that they are sinners. He does this through the conviction in our hearts that we are not worthy to stand before a holy God, that we need His righteousness, and that judgment is certain and will come to all men one day. Those who deny these truths rebel against the conviction of the Spirit. Pray for those in our states and nations to be convicted of sin and unrighteousness by the powerful gift of repentance.   John 16:7-11

DEPOSIT / SEAL / EARNEST. The Holy Spirit is God’s seal on His people, His claim on us as His very own. The gift of the Spirit to believers is a down payment on our heavenly inheritance, which Christ has promised us and secured for us at the cross. It is because the Spirit has sealed us that we are assured of our salvation. No one can break the seal of God. We have a strong salvation – we declare it to one another and to the nations!   2 Corinthians 1:22, 5:5, Ephesians 1:13-14

GUIDE. Just as the Spirit guided the writers of Scripture to record truth, so does He promise to guide believers to know and understand that truth. God’s truth is “foolishness” to the world, because it is “spiritually” discerned. Those who belong to Christ have the indwelling Spirit who guides us into all we need to know in regard to spiritual matters. Those who do not belong to Christ have no “interpreter” to guide them to know and understand God’s Word. Pray for our leaders to submit to the leading of the Holy Spirit, to be guided by Him, and to begin to understand the righteous foundations of our states and the U.S. and to be transformed.   John 16:13, 1 Corinthians 2:14

INTERCESSOR. The Holy Spirit’s ministry of intercession on behalf of those He inhabits provides great encouragement and comfort. Because we often don’t know what or how to pray when we approach God, the Spirit intercedes and prays for us. He interprets our “groanings,” so that when we are oppressed and overwhelmed by trials and the cares of life, He comes alongside to lend assistance as He sustains us before the throne of grace. Thank Him for leading us as we pray to rebuild the Western Wall.   Romans 8:26

REVEALER / SPIRIT of TRUTH. Jesus promised that, after the resurrection, the Holy Spirit would come to “guide you into all truth.” Because of the Spirit in our hearts, we are able to understand truth, especially in spiritual matters, in a way that non-Christians cannot. In fact, the truth the Spirit reveals to us is “foolishness” to them, and they cannot understand it. But we have the mind of Christ in the Person of His Spirit within us. Pray for Truth to be revealed over our western states and the province of B.C. and to transform the very atmosphere.   John 14:17; 16:13; 1 Corinthians 2:12-16

SPIRIT of LIFE. The phrase “Spirit of life” means the Holy Spirit is the one who produces or gives life, not that He initiates salvation, but rather that He imparts newness of life. When we receive eternal life through Christ, the Spirit provides the spiritual food that is the sustenance of the spiritual life. Here again, we see the triune God at work. We are saved by the Father through the work of the Son, and that salvation is sustained by the Holy Spirit. We declare Spirit Life to fill His Body–the Church–and to begin to flow into and fill every sphere of influence. Romans 8:2

SING/PROCLAIM:

Holy, Holy, Holy! Lord God Almighty! Early in the morning, our song shall rise to Thee.

Holy, Holy, Holy! Merciful and Mighty! God in Three Persons, blessed Trinity!

May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. 2 Cor. 13:14

The focus this final week of building the Western Wall of Repentance is on the Capital of the Kingdom of God, the Great City of the King– Jerusalem, the Holy City. Together we will proclaim the Shema: “Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God is One!”

WEEKLY MEDITATION FROM THE BOOK OF NEHEMIAH:

NEHEMIAH FINISHES WELL. The work on the wall in Jerusalem was finished in fifty-two (52) days! “When all the enemies heard of it and all the heathen saw . . . they perceived that this work was of our God!” Nehemiah 6:16b

THE RESPONSE: We need Nehemiahs who will stick it out through the thick and thin of battle until the job is done and the victory won! Hallelujah! “Stand up and bless the Lord your God forever and ever! Blessed be Your glorious Name which is exalted above all blessing and praise.” Nehemiah 9:5

TEACHING ON THE SHEMA (Condensed from The Seventh Shema by Paul Sumner):

Resonance. Harmonics. Chord resolution. It’s what we find over and over in the New Testament. The Hebrew Scriptures are the ottava bassa. The stories and letters and revelation about Yeshua are the ottava alta that re-echo off golden Jerusalem stones, resolving the themes and movements and dissonance of the ancient grand music. The Hebrew word shema is a command. It means hear or obey (someone). Often it means both. We’re familiar with the servant’s response to his king: “To hear is to obey.” An Old World expression; a Hebraic covenant principle.

The command “Shema Yisrael” occurs five times in the Hebrew Bible, all in the book of Deuteronomy. In the first, it is a command to hear-and-obey. In the other 4, it means “pay close attention to the following word.”

THE 5 SHEMAS:

Shema, O Israel, (to) the laws and rules that I proclaim to you today. (5:1)

Shema, O Israel! The LORD is our God, the LORD is the one and only. (6:4) Shema, O Israel! You are about to cross the Jordan. (9:1) Shema, O Israel! You are about to join battle with your enemy. (20:3) Shema, O Israel! Today you have become the people of the LORD your God. (27:9)

THE 6TH SHEMA: This Shema occurs in Deuteronomy 4:1 with a different word order: Yisrael shema. Its meaning is much the same as 5:1. “O Israel, shema (to) the laws and rules that I am instructing you to observe.”

As the Second Generation is about to enter Canaan (the land given to them by the LORD), they must prepare spiritually and morally. If they would remain in the Land and know his blessing Presence, they must hear all that the Redeemer has said to them and done for them.

THE 7TH SHEMA PROPHESIED: What is not often mentioned is Moses’ 7th Shema in Deuteronomy 18. There, in God’s name and authority, Moses tells Israel that God will raise up another prophet like himself. He will put His very “words in [the prophet’s] mouth.” And because He will speak “in [God’s] name,” the prophet will be in God’s stead among the people. As Moses was “God” [le-elohim] to the people (Exodus 7:1), so this Coming Prophet will be God’s authoritative Voice. “He will speak to them all that I [God] command Him” (v. 18b). The good news is: God will not leave Israel orphans. When Moses is gone, another will come to fill his role. Someone they will recognize because of what God has done — and said — through Moses.

After prophesying about this Other Prophet, Moses commands Israel again: Elayv tishma’un — Him you shall heed, listen to, obey. (Deuteronomy 18:15). Tishma’un is the plural command form of the verb shama. The people must, in the future, shama the Coming Prophet, as they had (erratically) heard and obeyed Moses himself. If they don’t, they will face dire consequences: “Whoever will not listen [shama] to My [God’s] words [spoken by the Prophet], I Myself will call him to account” (v. 19b). This prophecy became one of many partial chords in Israel’s songs of messianic expectation. When will “the Prophet” come to complete and resolve the chord?

THE 7TH SHEMA FULFILLED: The gospel of Matthew records a visionary, mountaintop experience involving Yeshua and three of his disciples: Peter, James, and John (chapter 17). Just as the Kavod (Glory) of God had appeared to Moses on Mount Sinai, a “bright cloud” appeared and “overshadowed” the disciples and Yeshua. Then a Voice came from the cloud: “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well-pleased. Hear him!” (v. 5) If we translate the last phrase into Hebrew, we read: Elayv tishma’un — Him you shall heed, listen to, obey. These are the identical words Moses commanded Israel regarding the coming Prophet . . . . The echo with Deuteronomy 18:15 rings bell-tone perfect.

Yeshua said He came in God’s name (John 5:43) and spoke only the words of God, His Father (John 3:34). John the Immerser said of Him, “He whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for He gives the Ruach without measure.” (John 3:34) Note the verbal link between “the Ruach” (divine Breath) and speaking the words of God. Isaiah also linked being anointed with the Ruach and “breathing in” [ravach, same root as ruach]. In this case, the Anointed would breathe reverence for the Lord. Then He would breathe out a sin-piercing Breath (ruach) and slay God’s enemies (Isaiah 11:2-4).

By His words and actions, Yeshua was stepping into the role of the prophesied Prophet of Deuteronomy 18. He was announcing Himself as “That One” — the One they expected because they knew and heeded Moses. Yeshua was preparing the Third Generation of Israel to re-enter the Land of promise with His message that the Kingdom was near, and to press outward into the lands of the Goyim to bring them into “the eternal covenant” (Heb. 13:20). Thus the scene in Matthew 17 involving Yeshua on the mountain of revelation — enshrouded by the Cloud of the holy Presence — becomes an early reiteration, fulfillment, and thematic conclusion to one of the many movements in the ancient grand “Symphony in Alef-Tav” . . . the Prophet sent by the LORD your God!
