Dear Brothers & Sisters in Christ:
All around the globe, God’s people are trapped in societies with a variety of demonic strongholds. In some countries, such as the United States and Australia, it is carefully cloaked in a false political agenda of human secularism “freedom.” In other countries the evil is more readily apparent.
Our call for Intercession in Venezuela has touched our brethren there. Please take a moment to read this letter below from fellow Christian warrior who has labored in Venezuela. I pray that it will touch your heart as well and give you confidence that our prayers are, indeed, instrumental in helping Jesus Christ set the captives free from evil dominions.
When you pray for Venezuela on June 22nd, PLEASE remember to utilize this information so we can call down these strongholds specifically in the heavenlies.
As we humble ourselves and pray for captives around the world, we are also actually praying for our own countries as well. If the allied forces didn’t liberate France and other Nazi occupied countries, ultimately, we would have been forced to live under that same tyranny as well.
Here is the “religion” that God wants us to practice (from Isaiah 58):
6 “Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen:

Also, please note this passage from the Book of Jude:
9-11 The Archangel Michael, who went to the mat with the Devil as they fought over the body of Moses, wouldn’t have dared level him with a blasphemous curse, but said simply, “No you don’t. God will take care of you!” But these people sneer at anything they can’t understand, and by doing whatever they feel like doing—living by animal instinct only—they participate in their own destruction. I’m fed up with them!
They’ve gone down Cain’s road; they’ve been sucked into Balaam’s error by greed; they’re canceled out in Korah’s rebellion.
12-13 These people are warts on your love feasts as you worship and eat together. They’re giving you a black eye—carousing shamelessly, grabbing anything that isn’t nailed down. They’re—

Balaam’s error = selling the things of God for money
Cain’s road = killing your brother (brethren) because you are jealous of his sacrifice
Korah’s rebellion = thinking that because you are a Christian, you will be free from judgment
They are “giving you a black eye” = giving the Remnant Church a bad name.
We need to examine ourselves DAILY to see if any of these seeds are popping up because they are a deadly cancer:
Desire for Fame (notoriety, popularity, approval of man–it takes on many forms)
Desire for Fortune (making money off of the things of God—very serious abomination)
Desire for Power (feeling “snubbed” or offended when someone doesn’t listen to you, spirit of control or manipulation).
We must “leave people to God” which is EXACTLY what I think this scripture verse is about.

Basically, the Archangel Michael said: (humbly trying to paraphrase here without diminishing the Holy Word of God)…
“I will not pick up your weapons Satan (cursing, violence, love of money, abuse of power, etc.). Instead I will fight with spiritual weapons.”
So…as it pertains to Venezuela and the Maria Lionza evil strain? Excellent shadow picture of fighting within the church (Mary of the Lion of Judah). We MUST NOT do this with physical weapons but with spiritual weapons. A definite demon needs to be called out of the church.
The writer below was spiritually keen enough to fill us in on the background of this demon so we can fight it on the spiritual level.
Dear Pastor Daly,
Thank you so much for your initiative in obedience to the voice of the Holy Spirit to call for repentance in Venezuela. For 30 years I went back and forth countless times to the country with the message of repentance and salvation. I perceived during those years that the greatest problem was in the church leadership, and the unsaved were totally turned off by the hypocrisy. Adultery was common amongst many pastors and leaders, certain ones felt that they owned the tithes and offerings, and to this day, the message of legalism equals salvation in the great majority of pentecostal churches.
I know you are very busy, especially at this time, but I implore you to look over this email and read the 3 links which I have provided for a greater understanding of the spiritual darkness that exists in the country, and how to pray as we seek the Lord for the salvation and healing of this once very beautiful country. My prayer is that the Body of Christ will rise up in brilliant holiness that will outshine and dispel the darkness, that many will be saved as they witness the wonders of our Lord.

VENEZUELAN IDOLATRY and worship of the goddess Maria Lionza is rampant, mixed with Catholicism- the main religion of the country.
“Now, the regime headed by Nicholas Maduro, with evident inclinations of Santeria imported from Havana, seeks nothing more and nothing less than to declare Maria Lionza as the official cultural heritage of Humanity. It is a public and notorious fact that Santeria and Palería were stimulated and fostered by the regime of the late Chavez and now, by Maduro as a deliberate policy of the State to undermine and counteract the authority of the church, which he regards as his enemy.”

In 1953 the dictator Marcos Perez Jimenez, who was a devotee of the goddess ordered a statue of her to be erected
on a 4.5 meter high pedestal in the middle of the major highway which divides the capital city of Caracas from east to west.
This location is considered by his devotees as the nucleus of spiritual energy of the city.
The dictator, who actively promoted the establishment of patron saints throughout Venezuela,
hoped to legitimize his government* with the image of the goddess who is mounted on a tapir
[an animal that is like a pig with a long nose and short legs and that lives in tropical America and Southeast Asia],
who’s pelvis is raised toward Heaven, and whose legs are entwined by a serpent. She is portrayed as a strong woman, holding a female pelvis as a sign of ferility.
The followers of María Lionza regularly leave offerings of flowers, liquor, coins or fruit at shrines in honor of the goddess as well as other popular images.
